Re: Network Controller driver

Its a T42, but theres a model number for the T42 series. I need it to locate your Ethernet card driver. IE. T42-2373.

Also have you attempted to search at IBM.com for the driver? If you cannot figure it out, post model number and ill find the driver.

Take care

Re: Network Controller driver

Actually, look under device manager. Right click on My Computer>Properties>Device manager

See if your Ethernet card is installed. Network controller normally represents WLAN "wireless" with XP dev manager.

Re: Network Controller driver

Hi,
Is this the Wireless Lan driver or the LAN driver?
T42 2373 what (model#)?
Your drivers can be found here, But you need to input the correct INFO:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...&validate=true
Family: Thinkpad 42
Type : 2373
Model :NEED TO KNOW!
Operating System: select your OS

YOU MAY GET ALOT OF CHOICES.
The best thing to do is RIGHT CLICK on the error>Properties>Details TAB.
POST what you find under Device Instance ID (a VEN/ DEV #).

Re: Network Controller driver

Not sure, in the device manager it just says Network controller, with a little yellow question mark.

Re: Network Controller driver

Hi,
If you have the error in the device manager:

The best thing to do is Go into the DEVICE MANAGER
RIGHT CLICK on the error (Network Controller in your case)>Properties>Details TAB.
POST what you find under Device Instance ID (a VEN/ DEV #).
Thanks,
Bill
