OS: windows vista

windows has failed to start, system32 driver error....

Wowzers its amazing the problems you can run into with computers. I have a friend who wanted me to fix a computer that her son regulally unpluged because she would show up at home when he was online browsing.... Well she said she had reformsted the computer many many many times and it was just fine, now its starting to shut down even after being reformsted. She gave it to me and after I turned it on to reformat once again because it won't go to the start menu or anything it read this error....

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer
2. Choose your language and settings and then click next.
3. Click repair your computer

If you do not have this disc contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance. Then it says windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing or corrupt. File; \windows\system32\drivers\adp94xx.sys
System; 0xc00000e9

When I type that error in google it says it could be a Trojan virus and gives sites to download programs on to get rid of it, some say its because there is hardware and software errors and that I need to download the drivers on another computer to save them to CD and upload them from CD/dvd drive first from the bios settings. I am confused on what to do. I am stuck with not being able to restore the computer or fixing the drivers from the vista disk, I need to help fixing this please!!!! Its a newer computer and it would be a shame to not fix it up. Thanks!!!
