Lost driver for "Copier 2.1" program
I am a forum virgin, grey haired old git.
My first attempt to register a thread has gone to heaven? I have "Copier 2.1" a program that came with "Vuego V33" scanner. When I swapped all USB connections from PC_1 to PC_2 and then reconnected all same USB connections back PC_1 ... MS-XP tells me it cannot find driver for "Copier 2.1". Well it is there in the bowels of "C:\", but plug and play cannot find it. "Copier 2.1" opens (to "Copier" window) with copier.exe but then an alert to the effect "cannot locate driver". Copier's woeful help, is no help! "Copier 2.1" feature is brilliant but support is non existent. How do I ... 1. Reinstall Vuego software? (I presume this will connect Copier 2.1 with the scanner) 2. Identify the driver "Copier 2.1" is looking for, ie, PathName 3. Access settings for "Copier 2.1" 4. Connect "Copier 2.1" any other scanner. ReadMe.txt file on Install CD states "Copier 2.1" can use any scanner hardware but does not say how to set it up. I would appreciate anyone's help. |
