i just purchased a koutech hi-speed usb 2.0 cardbus for my dell notebook running xp home w/ sp3. i plug it in to the side slot and put the disk in to load the driver and it does nothing. when i try and open the d: drive, it tells me to insert a disk into the drive. it apperantly does not recognize the driver disk at all. i know my d: drive is working. i dont know what to do about this. i cant get tech support from koutech because they are at a meeting today. what kind of company says 'no tech support today, we are having a meeting.' thats not good. anyhow, the reason i bought this thing was to hook up a vhs to dvd unit i bought last week that also doesnt work because i dont have a hi-speed usb. im starting to compound my problems and im trying like hell to fix them before i just give up and take it all back for a refund and give up completely. all i want to do is put some vhs tapes on disk. aaahhhh! please help if you can. im at my wits end! thanks!

Re: need driver for koutech usb 2.0 cardbus
I don't think so, and for the CBU420 they have no drivers listed very strange > http://www.koutech.com/proddetail.asp?linenumber=289
