color quality 16 to 24 i want 32 bit

hello im travis my windows xp can only go to 16 and 24 bit and i want 32 bit

Hello Travis,

Those numbers are controlled by the capability of the Video Circuit, whether it's on your motherboard or a plug in video card.
You can't make it go higher than it was designed for.

I don't know WHY you need 32 bit.???

The higher the number you select the slower your screen refreshes will be and the more Video ram will be used up on every screen.
I always set the bit rate to the lowest available, usually 16bit, for greater efficiency and faster screen refreshes.

Setting the bit rate too high if you don't absolutely need it, is counter productive, sort of like shooting yourself in the foot.

If your video card is not offering you 32bit, then it's not available on your PC. Set it at 16bit and forget about it.
