ethernet driver dissappeared

My ethernet is not working. i have a dell vostro 1000 laptop with XP SP3 . I need to configure my router but it says code 28 for my ethernet. i am not for sure what to do. I cannot access my basic email right now. but if youcan help my work email is tfagan@greenstores.net....thank u

Hi,
Here is a link for your drivers:

I am unsure if you are looking for the wireless or the LAN driver, but under NETWORK it list both.
The LAN driver is the second one on the list.
The wireless is either the 4th or 6th one on the list (I am guessing the 6th one).

thank you for all your help. it just says pci ethernet its a plug in ethernet port

its just so weird that this hapened...a few weeks ago the same thing happened wit my sound card...it just dissapeared...do you know why this would have happened???
