hp compaq nc6000

i just changed my os to windows vista from xp. everything but the wireless card is working. i looked in the device manger and the ethernet controller, needs to be updated, but i have no internet so i cant update it. is the driver the reason i cant get into the internet and if so how can i fix this?

and welcome to the Forum

Download the wireless card drivers using the pc you are posting with now . . save to a flash drive or burn to CD to install on the other pc
