how to reload configuration files for a western digital external harddrive
I have a Western Digital external USB hard drive WD4000C035-000. All of a sudden it isnt being loaded on neither my desktop (XP) or my laptop (vista). When plub into the USB port the safety Remove will show on the desktop but the hd will not load to operated and the autoplay didnt start. The same goes for my laptop but it tell me that it is looking for the configuration for the hd. How can I reload the configuration or the drives to the HD so that I wont lose anything. This harddrive was brought last year so I think the warranty is out.
