[SOLVED] My PC intergrated sound devic not funtioning

My motherboard is a Asus P5KPL-YM
the sound device is a 6-ch HD Audio
the driver seemed to mess up during installation but now reinstalling it does nothing. For a while i was getting a installation error and then i try to delete all the drivers to that device to start over now it doesnt do anything when i install the driver.

Every time i start up the computer i get this new hardware found PCI Device. I try installing it with the Driver CD that comes with the Motherboard but it does install

can anyone help

This is a link to the page on which you download the driver for your motherboard. Have you tried it this way? It could be a newer version of the driver you are using from the disk.

i like to add it seems whenever i try a new driver it crashes
blue screen stop error due to a driver problem

is this oem motherboard installed in a major manufacturers computer? If so, try going to the computer manufacturer and download their driver.

i solved the problem i reformatted and then first thing i did was use the motherboard disc and used the allinstall program
