need help with drivers for my pcmcia

Hi guys!

I have no 1394 slots in my notebook so i decided to buy a pcmcia card to fix this issue of mine. however my laptop doesn't recognize any pcmcia bus, and thats my issue. I have removed the os that came with the laptop and installed my older xp sp 2, and thus i have manually installed drivers from the net for my grafic card etc. but i can't seem to find any for my pcmcia slot. could you please help me, i'm really in need of assistance.

btw, the model name of my computer: "Advent 8215 Nordic"

(Although it says Vista after every driver) I've downloaded the card-reader drivers from the website linked below, which is mentioned in the above link, and the package includes drivers for win2k/xp.

Did you install Chipset drivers? (which should always be installed first)
The above link also contains XP drivers for the Chipset.
