Need drivers for Liteon s0x dvd writer

Hey guys, I recently bought a new dvd rom and have been having problems installing games (wow and hl2) I believe it has to do with the drivers for my dvd.

Liteon (phillips) 20x Dvd Writer

I have searched for drivers but have not been able to find any. Thankyou for any help you can offer.

Re: Need drivers for Liteon s0x dvd writer

Hi, Crakky
CD/DVD drivers are installed by XP.
The problems you are having may be caused by dirty or scratched cd/dvd discs or conflicts within the windows registry.

The first cause is easily solved, just give the discs a good clean before using and check for scratches etc.

The second cause is a little more complicated.
Did you uninstall any optical drives before installing the new one; or did you just add the drive to your sysytem?
Is it the only optical drive in the system? (If not, ensure both drives are jumppered correctly and in the proper order on the IDE cable)
