Cry Need Help!

Argh!

How do I check if my ATI X800 XT PE 8.7 has installed correctly? I did all the steps, but in DXDIAG it still says 6.14 ...

The WDM Installation had a problem, and stopped halfway. I'm not sure what to do now! I just want to get this new driver in ASAP so i can FINALLY play some games.

Cheers,

My System

Re: Need Help!

Hi, download the drivers from ATI......
http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

Uninstall all video drivers/software you currently have from Add & Remove Programs in Control Panel and restart.

When system starts to boot, press F8 repeatedly until you get the Advanced Startup Options. Choose to Start in VGA Mode.
If windows tries to search for drivers cllick on Cancel.

Disable/Stop any non-microsoft programs & services, e.g. anti-virus software etc by using Windows Task Manager.
Run the Setup.exe for your downloaded drivers, then restart and configure the display to your liking.

Download and Run this application, GPU-Z, and it will tell you exactly what version of card you have.
