The system is using the generic video driver..... Please Help!

Hello.. Please help!

After hearing that Diablo 3 was coming out i felt like playing Diablo 2.. so i installed the disks and an error message keeps coming up "Problem initializing Direct draw" so i Check 'DxDiag' and it says: The system is using the generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer. Direct3D functionality not available.

could someone please help.. i have no clue about the technical side of computers lol..

I don't know what system spec you would like so i'll just paste what it says on DirectX Diagnosis.

Hi,
Go to Control Panel, then Display, click on the top Settings tab, then select Advanced.
Now click on the top Troubleshoot tab and move the Hardware Acceleration slider all the way to the right to Full. Click Apply, then OK and Restart.
