Renewing your IP address

I don't know where to post my thread :(

My laptop has suddenly stopped letting me connect to the internet. I know that the internet is working because there is another laptop connected to it. They are both wireless. When I try and 'repair' the connection it says "windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Renewing your IP address"

When I type ipconfig/all it says

Host Name................:BMBC-ZVZLYLTVRF
Primary Dns Suffix......:
Node Type................: Unknown
IP Routing Enabled......:No
WINS Proxy Enabled....: No

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Media State..............: Media disconnected
Description................: Intel <R> PRO/100 VE Network Connection
Physical Address........: 00-08-0D-B9-A9-52

Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 10:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix.:
Description...........................: Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter #2
Physical Address...................: 00-17-3F-8F-6B-F3
Dhcp Enabled.......................: Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled......: Yes
Autoconfiguration IP Address...: 169.254.107.26
Subnet Mask........................: 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway...................:

I am sending my message from a different computer because it won't work. I copied this from another thread...

Please supply the following info, exact make and models of the equipment please.

The name of your ISP and country of residence.- I live in UK but don't know what the name of my ISP means - is it Sky?
Make/model of the broadband modem. If dial-up, please specify. It's Sky
Make/model of the router (if any). Sky??
Connection type, wired, wireless. Wireless - it's Belkin adaptor
If wireless, encryption used, (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.) ???
Make/model of network card or wireless adapter.
Make/model of your computer (motherboard if home-built).TOSHIBA SP2100
Version and patch level of Windows on all affected machines, i.e. XP-Home (or XP-Pro), SP2, Vista, etc. XP

Also, please give an exact description of your problem symptoms, including the exact text of any error messages.

when I type ipconfig/renew it says "No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected. An error occurred while renewing interface Wireless Nework Connection 10 : unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out"

It says the Signal Connection: Excellent
It says Encryption: Enabled
