Advent QC430
Hi folks, i've got an advent qc430 and the dvd/cd rom drive has packed up on me, i was wondering if anyone knows where i could get a replacement one, and are they hard to fit? Any tips appreciated.By the way i'm in Ireland, if that helps on where to get one.Thanks

Hi,
Give eBay a browse. The website linked below will also give you info on where to get replacement parts etc for Advent...bottom of the webpage..... http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/laptop/qc430.htm Your manual should tell you how to replace the DVD Drive, and it's not difficult. Usually just a straight pull out, then push in the new one; with the laptop unplugged of course. |
