ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 problems

My computer grinds to a halt when any web page with a video or flash file imbedded starts playing. It literally can not process the page, and I need to shut down firefox. I am assuming I sohuld be re-installing my video card drivers? Does that wound right? Can someone point me in the right direction?

I'd try installing or reinstalling Flashplayer. Then ensure you have the browsers settings enabled, and any Firefox Add-ons installed, for playing media in webpages
