OS: windows xp service pack 2


cd drive

hey guys my drive isnt recognising my cd's etc and then my comp freezes up after i put them in , av tried unistalling the driver but still dosent work

any ideas

Just a suggestion, go into Device manager,delete the drive then reboot.

sorry mate thats wot i meant wen i sed i have unistalled it lol , i have been told to open up the comp and disconnect the wire but dont know if i would be able to do it as i would be scared incase i messed it up haha
