Need help with ethernet drivers

Ok i just reformatted my pc it is a dell demision 4550 and after i got everything reinstalled i noticed my ethernet controller still had a check mark beside it says the driver is missing. I have tried all of the dell support drivers for my system and i still get nothing. I have a Realtek RTL8139/810X Family fast ethernet NIC , my OS is XP and i have acable modem that came from suddenlink. Is there something i am not doing since i tried all of the drivers from the support pages of dell. Can i do something else to get my net up and running again?

Be sure to uninstall the previous driver first.

It's reeeeaaalllyyy hard to know what driver needed exactly.. so many chips and that. Did you try RadarSync to find for you?
