I need some help with Audio Device.
Hi everyone.
I have problems with updating sound driver using Device Manager. I usually follow these steps (which regularly work) Start->right click on My Computer->Hardware Tab->Device Manager and i see a yellow question mark on it so i simply right click on it and select update driver. The point of this thread is that its not updating the driver... Its searching for it like forever.. Can anybody tell me whats causing it or provide me with ,, Audio Device On High Definition Bus'' also known as ,, VIA VT8237A/8251 High Definition Audio Controller PCI '' when working perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I also have VIA Audio, you should find your system's driver CD. Insert the CD and ensure it has the audio application install before continuing.
You have to reinstall the VIA Audio drivers as part of the audio utility. In my case it is VIA RealTek AC97. IF YOU HAVE THE CD, try these steps:

Well i don't have the CD thats why im always doing it via Device Manager :/
I have pirated genuine version of XP cause on Genuine Windows my drivers never really worked.. But on the pirated version has all drivers exept Sound.... Like i sayd Updating VIA trough update manager usually worked but this time it always fails.... Thanks for feedback and i'm really sorry for my bad English. |

PS: My father took another wife and yes he took all Windows versions with him and now i don't have no idea where he is :S
All Windows version were bought .. Windows XP Professional SP 2 Windows XP Home Windows XP Windows Vista Home Premium Windows Vista Ultimate... I really hate him :/ |

Don't you have mother board CD with you........If not go to this site you will find all the drivers in www.driverguide.com.
