ethernet controller driver for XP
hi
i hav a compaq presario v3611 laptop. I hav installed XP on it, but since first day itself it wass hard to find the drivers. Finally i got all the drivers except Ethernet Controller. But now a new problem has occurred. My DEVICE MANAGER DOES NOT SHOW ETHERNET CONTROLLER. Earlier atleast it was showing it with a yellow mark but now it has disappeared. It happened after I found a new driver pack on nVidia site and tried to install it as it claimed to contain the correct driver (it ran an automatic scan to look for drivers). Q1. How to get device manager to show the ethernet controller again ? Q2. Where to look for the driver and how to install it ? thanks in advance |

Welcome to TSF. Is this the driver you install? http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_...p2k_14.10.html Can you uninstall the Nvidia Driver under ADD/Remove programs? |
