![]() ![]() ![]() i have all of my school stuff on my usb stick it is the mobilemate that was purchased on black friday at wal*mart 4 years ago (apparently black listed) now it displays "device driver not installed" when i go back to install it it says"windows does not recognie this driver" "if problem persits replace storage unit" i NEED[/b] THAT STUFF ONB MY STICK REPLACING THE STORAGE UNIT IS OUT OF THE QUESTION HOW DO I MAKE THIS WORK!!!!! -Lost and pissed ![]() ![]() |

Hi
![]() You don't need extra drivers for the stick in XP/Vista. Load a system restore from before the problem occurred. Scan the computer for malware. Try the USB stick with another computer. Do other USB devices work with the computer? |

i work in the tech lab at my college so i had access to 40 computers which i tried the stick in half of
some had xp some had vista some had word ranging from none to '07 i then tried it in my computer at home (w2000) then my other pc (vista) then my laptop (vista) it has always worked in all of those and now it just doesn't other usb sticks work in all of those tried |

So, none of the computers recognize the drive?
Connect it directly to the computer, not via a hub. Check the connector to see if any of the pins are loose. |
