Please help me to find driver for audio/sound for windows xp driver for this

unfortunately, this is one of those laptops that does not have drivers for xp, mainly b/c it came with vista. however it is the Conexant high-def audio that is in the laptop, so try this link: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...tem=ob-40619-1 it is the xp driver for a different model, but it's worth a shot. Hope this helps!

Hi Aqba89,
Try this link and install the driver erlise suggest. You have a Conexant HD AudioSmart 221: F700 sound & mic -= WORKING=- Have you done a full Microsoft update? If not do so before installing this driver. Are there any other errors in your device manager? Thanks, Bill
