aspire e571 downgrade to XP - NO Drivers

When i check my device manager ALL items display the yellow question mark...

I tried downloading the drivers from the european website, but can't get an Ethernet Controller driver for the life of me. The only one i got to work was the modem driver. PLEASE adevise!!!

I 'm using an ASPIRE E571 which i downgraded from vista to xp.

I would really appreciate ANY help

HI, if you're determined to downgrade, why don't you just back-up all your personal data, reformat the hard drive and and install xp?

Thats what I had done - a total reformat and new XP installation. XP, hopwever, did not automatically install the drivers. It took me a lot of time, but i eventuallly managed to track down and figure out which drivers i needed for each unknown device, download them and install them manually. Some "vista" drivers worked, some didn't. I had to visit different harware sites to get the drivers from the manufacturers. Thankx.
