audio problem

the other day i got ticked off at my computer and knocked it off my desk this pulled out the monitor cord so the screen went blank. it restarted(dont know why) so i pluged the monitor back in and i thought it was fine till i went to play music and it wouldnt play so i checked all the hardware and its fine and i looked in the software and the sound driver is gone. deleted. vanished or something i dont know but i cant seem to find the same software anywhere

Hi, for us to help, we really need to know what sound driver to look for.
If you're not sure, just give us as much info as you can about the make, model etc of your pc.
