CD-ROM & DVD Drives not reading. Is this a driver issue?
Hi, Hope I can get some advice. I have a Sony Vaio Pent 4 Desktop, XP-SP 2. About a week ago CD ROM & DVD drives stopped reading. After checking administrator, received this message, Windows cannot load this hardware, the drivers are either damaged or not found. Code 39. Is the problem in the drivers and if so what needs to be done. Please help asap. Thanks.
