liteon 487t
my liteon 487t does not show up on device manager it shows in my computer but when you put a disk in it it tells you to insert a disk. I have a nec 2510A

remove the upper and lower filters
scroll down to how here http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=k...060&x=12&y=13# there may be a break in one of the wires in the cable,try a new 80 wire cable on it
