sonic dvd for Hp

This is on a Hp computer I am guessing that it has to do with the dvd writer driver but not sure. Everytime you start the computer this error pops up saying that the sonic dvd is looking for a file and it asks if you have authorization to a certain file. when you tell it to search it takes a long time and comes back with nothing. It says to access Mydvd.msi but I dont know where to find that or what to do to make this stop coming up. Does anyone know how to fix this one.

Welcome to TSF.
I am not very familiar with this issue, but I will give it a try. Here is a link from HP that may help:

It appears to be a common issue (google Mydvd.msi).
