Aopen dvd rom drivers needed
Greetings all
I have an aopen dvd rom that will not auto run game DVDS. CD's run fine as do movies. The model is listed by windows as aopen 16x dvd-rom/amh. It is an older model. I have tried to let windows update the driver but it says I'm using the current drivers. If I load a DVD ROM game into it it will spin up, Sometimes it will freeze my compy for a minute other times it does nothing but stop spinning. Explorer shows no disk in drive. Auto run is turned on in control panel/system and I have verified the setting in the registry. Is it dead or is there a newer driver available? I have looked everywhere for one to no avail.
