[SOLVED] Sound driver problems after re-installing WinXp

Hello, I have a problem with my computer's sound not working after re-installing WinXp SP2 to fix a problem in Internet Explorer. Well, sound doesn't work, and I can't find what driver to use. Device manager can't locate the sound device... It worked fine before I reinstalled Windows. Any helpful suggestions?

Hi,
What is the make and model of your PC?
Do you have a driver/utilitie CD that came with the PC?
If you are unsure run Everest under my signature and post the results.

Problem fixed, I used Everest to find out my motherboard model, got the drivers and bam, it works! Thanks for trying to help though!
