please help :(
Hi!!, I need help. I have a new HP Pavilion dv 9700 with windows Vista, but I put XP on another partition and i have all drivers less the audio drivers and i don't find it since one month, I need them as soon as possible if anyone knows anything about it please tell me :( , thank you for everything :)

what sound??? you want us to do your work too - WHAT IS THE ITEM FOR WHICH YOU REQUIRE A DRIVER? do you get any sound now? check device manager?? settings correct??? How do you know you need a driver???? it should setup automatically with XP????? what's the chip??????? DVwhatever is a model name for a laptop - right? there's a lotta parts in there - more info plz Thank you so very much :) or email HP Gray . |

Thanks for the quick answer :)
i wouldn't ask for a help if i could find it :( In the XP partition has no sound, I looked in the device manager and I only missing 2 on which to install the drivers, the Ethernet controller and another device that the program Everest also don't identifies. When I am in XP does not make any sound, in fact i saw that the sound driver is installed but I put option to choose the device as if it were not installed. I also looked at, the first thing on the website of HP but only comes to light, but I need the same but for XP, and is what I do not see nor understand why it does not work (I am studying computer science, but my knowledge neither are superior ). Thanks for your help and sorry for my English is not very good: S, thank you so for everything :) |

it does not look like hp put out a driver for xp,that's why you should check for and gather the available drivers before downgrading as there is always a chance you will not get something to work then decide if you can live with that before downgrading
