Question RealTek HD Audo Driver?

Has anyone been able to actually get the 1.89 driver? Everytime I try and download it I just sit here with a "hey I'm trying to connect and download you file" screen. I have left it sit over night (about 8hrs) and still cannot connect to any of the three ftp sites.

I'm thinking I need them since my new HP w2207h monitor's built-in speakers make an interesting noise (sounds like someone on a CB-radio making white noise transmissions), which occurs while playing certain games. And HP's suggestion was to download the latest sound drivers [see above problem]

What is the model of your sound card? Or post the specifications of your computer using the Everest, the download link is under my signature down here

the current version on the XFX site is 1.87 (which is the version i have atm).

Re: RealTek HD Audo Driver?

So, you have a latest driver installed? Then, try to check the sound manager settings, it might have some configurations have been changed. Try to see of there is something like noise reduction or similar
