OS: win 98


aopen modem wont install drivers

I've got this aopen modem, and I know it works, but it wont allow me to install the drivers. I've tried using add new hardware, device manager, and a manual search. I have the disk, but nothing happens when I click on it. I'm using windows 98 se.

Can you tell us the Modem's model number or part number, and the part number on the Modem's chipset? If you can we can try to ID the modem and then we can determine if you have the correct driver.

Normally the reason the modem not installing is, incorrect driver for the modem. Could be other reasons for it not installing, too.
