Internal driver error

what this this mean?

Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9::Present()
when i play steam games, like hl2, css map:cs assault, or hl2ep1 and ep2 i get this "Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9::Present()"

what is wrong with me PC? and thxs for helping me

Video error, make sure mobo drivers are installed, and video
drivers. Might be a heat issue or the video card failure..

I also found this when i was scanning my pc for rootkits with AVG anti rootkit FREE

C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\a9qcq5z.SYS
Rootkit type ( hidden driver file )

the following action can be dangerous, it is only recommended for expert users. removal of some files can damage the system and leave it in an unbootable state are you sure you want to countinue? this can cause irreversible changes to your computer!

what do u mean by make sure mobo drivers are installed. i no mobo is mother broad but the "install" part i dont get. and my PC so really hot because my cool system ( which is a really bad fan ) sucks

Hi, I have read much about this since its happened to me, i heard alot about reinstalling dx, reinstalling, updating or rollback drivers, and much much more, thankfully for me it was as simple as setting my videos cards performance back to "Balance" in the 3D settings then standard settings. I had changed it to optimal performance 2 days earlier . btw i have a

x1550 xge 512 visiontek aka "radeon"
xpmce
3gh p4
2gb mem,
