EEK! Computer cannot install driver

My DVD/ CD-Rom is a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652D. i need help, error message below:

Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

Hi jason23456,
Welcome to TSF.
Go to the device manager and right click on the error (CD-Rom)>uninstall>then reboot the PC. See if that will reinstall the driver.

No it's not a new drive, it was installed when i got the new computer about 6 months ago. Gateway computer with DVD+/-R/W/CD-R/W

Right click on the error and select update driver. See if this will reinstall the driver. Windows has drivers preinstalled on the OS for these, unless your OS is corrupted it should reinstall the driver.
