Re: Wireless Hardware no found

If your laptop uses the AR5006 or AR5007 wireless, the driver (and Atheros software) can be downloaded here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P8I57N0S
I needed them for my laptop, and found out quickly that they are hard to find.

You might also try the Toshiba website: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t...ceghdgngdgnj.0

Re: Wireless Hardware no found

Hi all,
Hiflyr91, I commend you on the links, Very good info and thanks for the help.
Chris T, here is a link that filters hiflyer91 link (for XP), I suggest that you load the chipset driver first as it is one of the main drivers. It is #9 on the list.

The rest of the drivers are also there that you need.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Wireless Hardware no found

Thanks for help. I downloaded and installed the driver. Do I need to disconnect the hardware then startup then shutdown and reconnect the hardware for the OS to recognize new hardware?

Chris

Hi Chris T,
Yes the rule of thumb is to reboot the PC, then go on to the next driver.
You should not have to remove any hardware. Just keep checking the Device manager for errors and install the appropriate driver. You should also run a full MS Update. If you run into problems let us know.
Thanks
