1440x900 Resolution Disappeared
i know you have had other threads on this issue, i read them, tried everything they suggested to no avail.
i bought a dell inspiron 531 back in october, and it came with a 17 inch viewsonic widescreen lcd monitor. it was running fine in 1440x900 resolution until one day i restarted it, and it booted up in 1360x768 resolution. ive done everything i can think of to get back to my native 1440x900 but cant. that includes downloading different versions of the drivers for the video card (a geforce 6150se) and viewsonic drivers for the monitor. i even did a system restore back to factory settings, and nothing i can do will bring my 1440x900 back. im running windows vista home premium. any help? it would be much appreciated. |
