conflict?

I am having problems with internet explorer having to shut down. I am also finding that I am expelled from a chat room I am in, (carers org), when another member sounds, and it is not allways the same sound. One time it may be applause and another a different one. Smilies if I tried using them at first could also push me out. They don't do that now but I am loath to try anything else. Someone in the room sugested driver conflict but of that I have no idea. I have also 'lost' email half way through a new message. I appear not to have any malware, that is accourding to ms malware. I regulary run Adaware and spyware terminator, I am using A V G 7.5 antivirus and using xp. I automatically download updates for everything. I don't know what else I can tell you thank you.

Re: conflict?

I would suggest you download ZoneAlarm, it's free and a lot better than Xp Firewall. Then download Advanced WindowsCare V2 (again free for personal use,it keeps your machine in tip top condition) run this every day. You might care to try another Browser like Opera or Firefox. You haven't indicated if you have XP SP2 installed,if not it should be.
