TssTcorp. cd\dvdw TS-652D is corrupt or missing
Can someone please help me? I have an Emachine thats running vista home premium and my cd-rom drive is missing or corrupt! Help!

if you can see it listed in the bios correctly
go into the device manager uninstall it and reboot the computer

I believe I tried that. How do I try that if I havent done that. I mean I have tried to reinstall drive in the device manager. Anything else to try?

you right click on the drive listing and choose uninstall
did you check it is being seen by the bios

the bottom of one of your post screens will tell you what key to press to enter the bios

Start up your computer by either tapping the F1, F2, F4, F6, F8, F10, F11, F12, or Delete keys to access the systems BIOS. For the exact information on what key to start up the System BIOS refer back to Original Manufacturer System Documentation.
(It is the first screen that comes up, go to a boot options page) Please keep all of the work inside the forum, as everyone can see what steps are taken here. You are in very good hands, as Dai is the smartest hardware tech the forum has ![]() You can also try reseating your peripherals by doing this: It has come to my attention that we could try reseating all of the peripherals, inside of you computer. Reseating means, basically, that we will remove all of the peripherals inside of a computer and reinsert it. To reseat peripherals I would like you to remove your:
(continuation of top p.) and reinsert back again. Make sure to have atliest one hand on the metal casing that you take off so that you might not destroy any components while doing this computer excercise. |
