Help! Can't boot from CD.
Hi, I'm a new user, but I have a problem.
My boss has asked me to install Red Hat Linux on a HP Workstation c3650. I cannot get the machiene to boot from CD. In BIOS there is not an option to boot from the CD drive; there are only options to boot from two different SCUSI drives or an USB drive. I'm not very familiar with this sort of thing, I sort of get thrown into these situations without asking to. So if you want to answer me like I'm a 3rd grader go ahead. He also wants me to wipe everything that is currently on the machinene. I seem to think Red Hat will provide me this option when I am installing it. I could very possibly be wrong. Sorry if I posted in the wrong category. |
