My PC quit recognizing my external hard drive
Can someone help me? My Compaq PC stopped recognizing the drive on my Maxtor one touch external hard drive When I plug it in it states new hardwarefound but when I click on find software the search states cannot find software. Also in device manager I get a yellow triangle with question mark on usb mass storage device. when I go into computer-manage- and click on storage it does not show my drive. I have removed & reinstalled the software, Ive tried all of the fixes I can find in google-nothing has worked. All of my pictures are on this drive & dumb me I didnot back them up to a DVD. HELP!!
