Confused Hand-me-down laptop needs restore and drivers

Toshiba Satellite Pro M15-S405 I got from my brother. It beeps when I make a mistake, but no sound when I expect sounds. Yellow question marks show under various drivers, but I have no driver install disk. Would also like to have a restore cd. Can you recommend source for this software?

Re: Hand-me-down laptop needs restore and drivers

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Here is a link for the drivers:
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t...ceghdgngdgmn.0
It list all the drivers so be sure you select the correct operating system (ex. XP)
As far as a restore cd etc you can try and call Toshiba and see if they have them.
You will probably be charged for the replacement disk.
Hope this helps,
Thanks
Bill
