[SOLVED] cant support monitors res

my drivers died
now my card can support the res of my monitor it can go over and under but not hit 1440x 900

If it's the 162.22 driver it doesn't support 1440x900: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...ease_Notes.pdf
What driver were you using before?
Have you installed the monitor driver?

It has no manage custom timing (do you know were ican get my monitor driver that and video card i think are my problems

I thought you were able to run 1440x900 with the other driver. If so - it can't be the card.

i ment card driver =) the monitor driver is screwed saying its max is 1600x 1200 which it cant use

This old driver is the only Vista version I can find that supports 1440x900:

Uninstall the old driver first - but you knew that.

so liek.... it got rid of the excess mem usage in windows i get (missing textures in wow now) and did not give me the 1440x900

Did you try creating a custom resolution in the nVidia Control Panel? Click on Manage Custom Resolutions under Display.
