Toshiba Dynabook TW 720LL drivers
Hi ,
I bought a Toshiba Dynabook TW 720LL (100GB, 512 MB DDR DVD+RW) from Japan last year in March 2006. I brought the same to India. I disliked the Japanese OS. So I formatted the Harddrive into 4 partitions and installed WinXP SP2 English OS on the laptop. Alas..I forgot to save the drivers before I formatted the Hard drive. Now whenever I bootup i get an error message in Japanese which has something to do with some bad sector on the Hard disk. To proceed I need to press F1. The Windows OS boots up quite slowly always. I have comparatively few applications on that laptop (around 15). 4-5 applications come on startup including VNC viewer, yahoo messenger, toshiba wireless LAN client, etc. The laptop runs very slow these days and I am unable to view any movies or hear audio songs properly. It always breaks off in between and there is a lag. To speed up the laptop, I need to re-install the OS again as a system update. Then it runs well for a few days and again becomes very slow. The USB transfer is also slow running at USB 1.0 speeds I guess. I will be extremely grateful if someone helped me in getting the appropriate driver files or provided a remedy for this unpleasant situation I am in. |
