Nvidia v162.18 Driver Problem

Hello there TSF, i hope this is the correct section.

I am having peculiar problems when i install the new driver released by Nvidia. My resolution and setting gets changed to the lowest config possible and even when i change it , it stays the same

Here is how it becomes ,

and here is the config which remains the same no matter how many times i change it and click "Apply"

Have you removed the old driver thru add/remove programs befor installing the new one?

yup done all the complete uninstall requirements , no luck :(

go into the device manager click on the card entry and in properties check what driver is installed
