XP USB 2 DRIVERS and USB2 pci card problems
I am having trouble installing a combo USB2/Firewire pci card. XP seems to recognize the card and seems to install the drivers but in device manaager only 2 are listed as Enhanced USB controller. There are 2 internal and 4 external ports. 2 external Firewire and 1 internal.
Anyway I plug my USB2 flash drive and it says it would be faster if I plugged into a Hi-speed USB port. Really confused with all the root hub and controller distinctions. The board itself has 4 USB1.1 also. the PCI card came with a little driver disk. Should I use that and if so how do I stop Windows from installing its own drivers Frustrated thanks Bootsiesnail (Not sure if I am in the right category) |
