I think I might have found the problem

On the old writeable disc I noticed tonight it says on them C D R.On the new ones I am trying to write to it says on them DVD R.Would that make a difference in copying files and folders to F writeable drive?I also found a file that I could be missing,it's called by different names.Recovered File l.dll.exe the size is 11.73MB,>:[255,0]File:wdview.exe,others are fwrites,
Files.CSU
read.csu
write.csu
nwrite
nread
then there is regex
regbuild
regdemo
regj
regbld Also, winapi
win32api
winconst
winslt.
But I don't know, very confused.Maybe you have an answer to my problem.
Also I tried everything to open my registry but it just won't open.I feel like some times just dumping the whole system and starting from scratch. If I didn't have so much infomation on this thing I would.
Thanks,Ted Roux

Re: I think I might have found the problem

Hi Ted,
Not really sure how to help you. I don't know if you can't burn a CD or DVD. Anyway, (you may already know this) if you have a CD burner you have to use a CD-R or CD-RW disk. If it is a DVD burner you then can burn a DVD & usually CD-R and CD-RW. If you can run EVEREST and POST the results this will give us a idea of the specs on your PC (important). Also can you specify the problem you are having.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: I think I might have found the problem

What happens is even if you put a dvd or a music disc to be wrote to the f writer drive its like its not even there.I tried what you said and uninstalled the driver, well the f drive went away, but the next time I turned on my computer the hardware wizard had it back and was asking to download another driver.Everytime I do that It can't never find one, even off the internet.
