OK well basically I don't ever use these things and never know why so I guess i better start NOW, idk what to say besides my screen flashes every so often when I'm playing css.

I'm playing css and 2 minutes in it flashes black then goes right back to normal then stops for awhile then flashes black again and again and again in a row like 1/4 of a millisecond between each flash and then it stops for awhile and starts happening again, and i can usually play for awhile before this happens, And just so you know i never had this problem before with my outdated drivers with Nvidia that usually download through xp on automatically, also i was given this card by a friend and i think i remember him saying ITs has some kinda glitch or bad drivers for this card idk if im certain he said anything at all lol, its a geforce 6800.

umm i heard i might have to give specs but idk what kind, i have everest corporate edition, lol i have a great spec analyzing program but dont even use it well i just got it so i have an excuse.

Anyways i downloaded the newest drivers for this card and now the problem exist, also i cant find a good tweak driver download for my geforce i found a nice one from tweakrus.com XG 162.11 i heard it works well with my card. I had the same problem with this driver as well, it seems to me that when i download an updated driver for my card it starts flashing, one more thing before i go, I kinda have an obsession for Awesome programs so if anyone knows of some good ones i can download please dont tink twice of leaking some info, same goes for updating and Websites im starting to get bored with my poor *** computer.

Yes yes of course, lol Well i'm kind of a newbie at this whole computer biz so as i asked above which system spec like what info i have everest corporate edition but lol wth do i know about specs or what they are so if you would hellp me with first telling me what spec i would need to post sry for being computer illiterate but i guess some people have to learn sometime or another.

System specs in general (Ram, Cpu, Video card etc)...basically information about your current system would be helpfull in solving your problem at the moment i think your video card isnt good enough to run the game (but i'm just assuming at the moment till you post your specs in general i wont have a certain answer)

OMG i know what your thinking this guys a moron and annoying me already but ya like i said above i wasnt sure what specs so i decided to post as much about my specs as i can.

Lol, dont regect me im a newbie in need of some serious help, if this doesnt help me im thinking of formatting with xp CD i think i just might do that vary soon im just affriad of waiting 2 hours and find out that its going to be flashing again or not even fix ANYTHING, hope someone out there can help im really starting to lose it.

Ps. i just uninstalled my directx 9. and i am going to reinstall right now, as im posting this my screen has rigid lines like a distorted image and the rigid lines are flashing in some wierd way idk why maybe when i restart and reinstall directx 9.0c it will go away, and one more thing, if anyone see's any things in my spec's wrong dont be affraid to tell me i love boosting performance in my pc i live for that kind of stuff.

Does it do it with any other games? Also have you read the release notes for your drivers? Maybe there is a known issue with the game. You could also try an earlier driver see if the problem still occurs. Well i looked at bios and its specs are - <(sign means anywhere bewtween) Vcor: 1.258V +3.30V=3.161-177V +5.00V:5.056V +12.00V:11.672- 711V and its model number is PS500CLA i googled it and after ten sites i found these two sites>

just for future Ref, i was given this computer and thought it was working fine before i knew such problems existed.

another thing i hooked my own TV/MONITOR upto this rig and all i know about it is its an AKAI 2016 tv that has a VGA hookup so i thought it would work fine maybe im miss taken lol 1MORE THING, my cat chewed the wire awhile ago and i did some precise cutting and wrapped the wires nice and tight and put some electrical tape around it, i never thought about this till now i was just noticing today taht i did that awhile ago but i didnt think of it because i had no problem with anything on my computer till this day i didnt play css but while ago but i did play alot till now maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago i started playing css and no problem but i did get a sorta off green display once in awhile and auto focus was a lil weird sometimes im thinking maybe a virus or some bad or NO drivers at all on something in my computers hardware.
I did how ever boot into my other copy of windows xp (Note: this was a fresh copy that was rarly use i installed it because i thought it might make css run better of from getting viruses or slowing game play down or idk i just thought it would be better to do it this way, so i left it alone and started playing css in my other boot which i am in now the one with all the problems or so i thought it was, turns out there both having the same trouble with css) and so i tried to install the drivers i wanted on tweaked.com (heard they work VARY WELL WITH MY CARD-XTreme-G 162.18 XP 32bit-is the name of the download) and so i used driver clearner and yata yata so on and i safe mode and installed those directX9.c drivers/software w/e(i think i didnt have those b 4 but w/e)then i restared and tried to play css and i was having the same problem it was less intense but still it happens alot of the time, also last night i was on the internet and watching a live feed in windows Media player11 and it was going crazy with flashes i had to stop doing things lol idk its kind of annoying when your in between jobs and no money and only have one hard driver to use so i cant even backup my files unless i go through EVERY FILE on my disk which can be a long task for such a shitty result(fixing this issue Note i also do this 3 to 4 times a month so if anyone can offer a program with backing things up for later use so i can install a fresh windows copy and still be able to use these programs i download and take long hours to download for instance Torrents- i download lots of them-thats another reason i think it might be a virus i only have a free virus scan -AntiVir so ya any help with the backup would be greatly appreciated) well im sure i've rattled ur brains with my troubles enough, so i guess ill stop bothering for now and i hope this will solve My Nubberselfs computer issues, sry for being a newbie to this stuff i can only hope someone knows where i am coming from for asking for SO much help with SO many things. :(
