Graphics Tablet

Greetings,

I wonder if someone may be able to help me with a graphics tablet problem.

I am using winXP and have a Graphtec KD-4600 12x18 tablet connected to serial port com1 however I have installed a few drivers i.e.VTI and graphtec osp100i drivers but no action on screen with cursors.

The unit seems to be communicating via beeps etc but just cannot get any action on screen.

Appreciate any help.

Thank you, that is really helpful. I will give the switch settings a try.

Does your brother have an idea of where I might find a driver to work this tablet with XP?

According to the graphtec site, winXP is not compatible.

Sorry, I should have checked that first.
I've googled for help but there's apparently no xp drivers out there.
My bro uses Autocad on Windows NT system, so he's not much help.
