stop error
I was helped by Moral Terror at the "Hijack This Help". He/she claimed that my pc is clean, but I continue to experience the following:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP : 0x000000001 (0x00000000, 0x000000002, 0x00000001, GxF78DF94F) goprot51.sys - Address F78DF94Fbase at F78DE000, DateStamo 4352716 Moral Terror said, "From what I could find this stop error is related to a GTek driver which may need re-installing/updating. If you need further help with this then you could post at our Driver Support forum Include a link to this thread and let the experts there know you have been given the all clear here." Any advice? |

Re: stop error
Sometimes when you get infected, it messes up Windows files and drivers on your system. Cleaning the infection does not always fix items that were damaged by the infection.
For starters, if you have not already done so, go to start, run and type sfc /scannow and click ok. This will scan your Windows files for damage. You will need your Windows CD in the drive while you do this. It is normal for it to finish and not tell you anything. Reboot when done and see if the problem is still there. If so, please post back with more information about your system.
