laptop: problems with audio drivers. computer freezes and microphone not working

i've lenovo 3000 n100 0768 flg.

1. windows xp english and not vista. when i disable the audio realrek it seems the computer not frezes but when i use it the mouse pointer freezes for few moments many times.
i've tries ti install SoundMAX audio driver but it telling me i can't install it. sometimes the computer freezes for long times.

what do you suggest to do with it?

2. i think that the microphone is not working aswell on this computer. there is microphoe? how do i fix it?

i've many other problems with the computer. for example many of the drivers not working well.

Do you have restore cd's for this laptop?

no, there wasn't cd. its was partition with was for installing it.

i need xp and not vista anyway the os that came with it was vista.

i dont know what to do. i've so many problems with it even that i was just downloaded their original drivers from the website for that specific computer.

i will maybe call them even though i bought it in israel (now i'm travailing in canada).

but i don't have cheap calls here so maybe email will be better.
